TMI is a job placement service for health personnel within The Netherlands and abroad. TMI is a leader in the use of digital media – such as email, App,and social media – and new techniques for its services. This privacy statement discusses the different ways in which TMI collects data and the purposes for which data can be used.

TMI is responsible for all processing of personal data listed below.

1. When does TMI collect personal data?
Registration via the website: at the moment you enter your details on the TMI websites, your personal data will be recorded for the execution of our services.
Enrollment through events: if you enter your details on a registration card provided by TMI at an event such as an exhibition, symposium or information evening, your personal data will be recorded for the execution of our services.
2. For what purposes does TMI collect personal data
We collect and process your data for the execution of our HR services, including mediation, temporary employment, secondment, payroll, recruitment & selection, personal development and employability, payroll administration and personal management.
More specifically, your personal data will be processed for the purposes mentioned below:
- for the delivery of our services such as secondment (an employment contract with TMI), recruitment (permanent positions with our clients) and mediation (interim positions). TMI collects the personal information you provide as the controller and uses it to process your application and to be able to link you to the right vacancy and / or position;
- to be able to invoice to the client in the event of successful mediation;
- to measure the interest in TMI services and to promote user friendliness of the website (see the heading 'Usage of Google Analytics & Cookies');
- to provide information about our services, vacancies and other activities.
All different processing of personal data is included in a processing register.
3. Which personal data does TMI collect?
We process the personal data necessary for our service; part of this information is required to be able to use our services. Additional information may be desired in order to better tailor the service to your wishes and qualities or to meet more specific questions or obligations from our clients. You are responsible for the accuracy and relevance of the information you provide.
When registering or completing a contact form, we will ask you for the following information: Personal data (such as name, address, residence), Email-address, job title, job location (country) of interest, CV, medical certificates and diplomas.We need this information to assess whether you are eligible for a vacancy and/or to assess whether we see future possibilities for future vacancies and assignments and to inform you about the results of this assessment. In addition, we ask if you are interested to be kept informed by e-mail about our vacancies and other news.
You are not obliged to provide your details, however without them it is not possible to use our services. After all, the mentioned data are at least necessary to assess your suitability for the relevant vacancy or future potential vacancies and to inform you about this.
4. Providing data to third parties
TMI may use the services of third parties to process your data in accordance with this privacy statement. These third parties act as processor for TMI and TMI ensures that these parties offer sufficient guarantees with regard to the technical and organizational security measures. Third parties that act as processor for TMI have entered into a data processing agreement with TMI that states, among other things, that they will only process your data on behalf of TMI.
By using the services of TMI you give permission for the provision of your personal data to Customers / Healthcare Institutions in the Netherlands and if you apply for a vacancy abroad also in that particular country.
For the rest, TMI only provides data to third parties with your prior permission or if required to do so by law and regulations, it is obliged to do so as a result of a lawsuit and / or in case it deems it necessary to protect its own interests.
TMI has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss or improper processing. For example, a firewall, a spam filter and various encryption measures are used to prevent access to data by unauthorized third parties.
The user data is stored in locations that are both physically and technically protected. It also logs who had access to the user data. Only employees who need access to the personal data in order to perform his or her job fitting their job profile will also have access to the personal data.
All employees of TMI have been trained and informed regarding the General Data Protection Regulation. The employees who have access to the personal data are trained and instructed in how to deal with these data and there lays a duty of confidentiality on them.
Security checks are carried out by external specialists several times a year to ensure the security of your data. Any issues arising from this are immediately addressed, handled accordingly and resolved.
